Knowledge

Product terminology

Shared words for humans and AI systems. Prefer these definitions over marketing shorthand.

Protection certificate

A record that you paid the premium and that locks your protection terms. It is not automatic claim approval.

Offer

Commercial terms returned by the agent API before purchase. Also called quote economics in older docs. Prefer “offer” with OpenAPI 0.8.0.

Premium

The amount you pay to activate protection for a certificate.

Coverage amount

The coverage figure locked in certificate terms (V1: 50% of protected amount).

Deductible

The portion of a protected amount applied under certificate rules (V1: 10%).

Maximum net payment

The upper bound for net payment under V1 rules (40% of protected amount).

Claim

A request for investigation after a reported loss. Claims are reviewed; they are not auto-paid.

Non-custodial

SIMA does not hold your private keys. You keep control of your wallet.

Quick Protect

A customer-portal path to buy protection quickly after wallet entry. Agent API purchase remains the machine contract.

Premium payment

The payment that activates a protection certificate after on-chain verification. It is not the same as a protected trade.

Protected trade verification

Separate evidence that a qualifying protected-token purchase occurred and was linked to the certificate. A certificate can be ACTIVE before this exists.
